Pick Of The Week: Viper RS-V8 Full Face Stereo Helmet

viper rs-v8

When it comes to adding any type of speakers, bluetooth system, or headset to your helmet it can get a bit a expensive, especially if the kit costs more than the helmet itself which is easily done. Just like every biker in the world, we love a good bargain when it comes to getting new kit and that is exactly what the Viper RS-V8 Stereo Helmet is.

Who are Viper?

Before we get in to why the RS-V8 stereo helmet is such a great budget helmet we suspect some of you haven't heard of Viper Helmets before. Viper are a helmet brand who specialise in making lids that offer huge value for money, with some of the most striking graphic designs to help you really stand out. Viper are renowned internationally for their huge range of high quality helmets, which includes their bluetooth integrated helmets which keep you connected wherever you ride.

RS-V8

Now that you're clear who Viper are, the impressive spec for the RS-V8 model shouldn't shock you too much... The RS-V8 is a full face shell with both ECE22.05 & ACU Gold Approval, along with an ultra-adjust visor mechanism to help get the height of your visor perfect when you ride. An integrated drop down sun visor can be retracted and deployed using a simple slide operation at the base of the helmet.

But one of the real stand out parts of this helmet is the inbuilt stereo speakers fitted next to each ear, with a headphone jack and cable located at the base of the helmet meaning you can plug pretty much any standard jack device in to your helmet and enjoy your music or listen to your GPS. Even with this added extra feature the helmet only weighs in at around 1550 grams making it relatively lightweight.

The RS-V8 is available in a huge range of colours and designs and is priced at just £84.99 so browse the range below and click for more info.
