Pick of the Week: MT Helmets Blade SV Full Face Helmet

blade SV

After kicking off 2017 with a brand new website and a big giveaway on our Facebook page, we thought the only thing left to do was launch some new brands at LDMotorcycles.co.uk . One of these brands is the renowned Spanish helmet manufacturer MT Helmets. MT have been around for decades and are now available in over 95 countries around the world. As the name suggests MT Helmets only do one thing... that's design and build helmets, so they really know their stuff when it comes to the safety, comfort and appearance of motorcycle helmets.

Our pick this week is the MT Blade SV full face helmet, a lid which was designed for versatility to match riders who like to ride on the street or at the track but not compromise on performance or safety. It's polycarbonate shell is available in 2 different sizes depending on your helmet size meaning the layers of multi density EPS lining are consistent throughout the size range making this a very safe helmet which is reflected by the complete range of certifications e.g. ECE 22.05, DOT, ACU Gold and more.

If you spend most of your time riding on the streets then the integrated drop down sun visor is a real perk for when the sun comes out. At the flick of an arm you can deploy a tinted inner visor to protect you from sun glare and then retract it when the light drops, meaning no need to carry around 2 visors. On the topic of visors the Blade SV Helmet comes equipped with a 100% max vision Pinlock ready visor, and on top of that a Pinlock Anti Fog visor insert is included with every helmet.

Another feature that makes this full face helmet super useable and convenient is its micro-metric buckle system that allows you to fasten and remove your helmet quickly without fiddling. An effective venting system works to keep you cool on warmer ride outs with adjustable front intake and rear exhaust vents that let air flow through the lining of your helmet and stabilise the temperature of your head while you ride.

The newest range of 2017 shell designs are now available at LDMotorcycles.co.uk starting at just £119.99. Click below to see the range.
