Pick of the Week: Customtaylor33 Reflective Rim Tapes

Rim tapes on a motorbike are just like Marmite, some people love 'em and some people hate 'em (for some reason we cant seem to explain). But this week we thought it would be a good idea to give you the details on the hottest accessory on LDMotorcycles.co.uk right now, the Customtaylor33 rim tapes.

Right off the bat you're probably wondering why the weird name Customtaylor33? Well these rim tapes are from an American brand which explains the name since all things from the states seem to be a bit more extravagant; and these reflective rim tapes are no different! Dubbed as the most reflective rim tapes on the market by pretty much every user, it's not hard to find forum post after forum post with people raving about how cool and easy to apply these tapes are compared to others.

Since at LDMotorcycles.co.uk we're hot on anything that's different and stands out it made sense for us to become the first UK stockist of Customtaylor33 reflective products, to give us bikers from across the pond a chance to shine; literally.

The Lowdown

As you may have noticed from the name, these are reflective rim tapes which means they bounce light off them which gives the affect they are glowing by themselves. Which makes them awesome at making you seen out on the road by drivers since their headlights make your wheel rims light up.

Customtaylor33 Rim Tapes are supplied in pre cut curved strips to fit standard 17 inch wheels making them a lot easier to apply than other tapes. The curved sections lay over the profile of the rim, and a slight overlap is recommended to make a seamless circular line around your wheel to really set your bike apart. Tapes are thick with super strong self adhesive back to keep them intact at high speeds and stop them breaking in to annoying little bits when you come to removing them to change colours.

They're available in a range of standard and special colours with including Hot Pink which is an obvious choice if you really want to stand out from the rest of the bikes in your crew, and can take the stick they'll give you. Browse the range below and get yours.
